Product Shots
The biggest thing to remember here is CONSISTENCY. Many clients want to take it upon themselves to take their own product shots. I’ve seen product photography taken by clients with a point and shoot and the results were better that some professionally paid product photographer.It is not fully necessary to use a digital SLR camera to take your shots. In fact I have seem some pretty amazing looking shot taken with a simple point and shoot camera.
- Capture the whole product. It is typical to see shots that have the product cut off.
- Background color
- Be consistent! This is really the key not only to taking product shots but with the consistency of your brand.
