E-commerce and WordPress are the latest greatest thing! Honestly, I have been working as an e-commerce specialist for 6 years now and never before were we able to offer a full blown e-commerce site for the price we can today! That’s great news to our clients and even better for our economy considering its current state.

Product Shots

The biggest thing to remember here is CONSISTENCY. Many clients want to take it upon themselves to take their own product shots. I’ve seen product photography taken by clients with a point and shoot and the results were better that some professionally paid product photographer.It is not fully necessary to use a digital SLR camera to take your shots. In fact I have seem some pretty amazing looking shot taken with a simple point and shoot camera.

Capture the whole product. It is typical to see shots that have the product cut off.
Background color
Be consistent! This is really the key not only to taking product shots but with the consistency of your brand.

Using WordPress as your Publishing Platform

Think about what a users going to search for

Of course we always talk about content being the key to any well searched web site. So with that in mind be sure that the content you do write is viable and interesting content for your viewers to read.

Many new wordpress bloggers or website content writers get confused about what to write. It can be confusing but don’t be afraid! Becoming a great writer can take time, after all it is a profession. The more you put into it the more you will get out, just like anything. If you think you would search it, write about it. The tricky part is to do so without sounding like a broken record!

Building & Rebuilding customized plugins
